Hyperoptic hands out Nintendo Switch 2 to six shoppers

Shoppers who have been wanting to switch their broadband might be able to score a great deal. Hyperoptic is offering shoppers the chance to snap up a free Nintendo Switch 2 when they switch.

Hyperoptic is handing out six Switch 2 consoles to broadband switchers who want to try and get a better deal on their broadband, and Hyperoptic is one of the best ways to go.

We have frequently covered Hyperoptic because of its great broadband deals as well as the fact shoppers can be flexible with the duration of contracts and the price. In order to qualify for the Switch 2, Brits need to choose a 24-month contract so make sure you're happy to lock in for that long.

Prices start from £29 a month with a £19 activation fee. However, prices will vary by location, so broadband hunters should check their postcode here to see if it's available and the price.

If you've never heard of Hyperoptic, the lesser-known provider is committed to full-fibre rather than fibre-to-the-cabinet, which some other broadband providers offer. The aim is to offer 1GB hyperfast broadband to customers while keeping prices under control.

But for Brits who want to shop around, Sky is offering 150MB full fibre for £26 a month. Virgin Media's internet offerings, including some that offer broadband for £23 a month, also exist.

There are also over 30,000 reviews on Trustpilot, many of which are five-star reviews, so customers are really enjoying the Hyperoptic experience.

A pleased customer shares their experience: "Having used Hyperoptic for two years, there were only a few occasions when there were disruptions, and these were typically resolved within a matter of hours. The connection has been consistently stable, and the speed is true to the bandwidth we purchased".

However, some users reported experiencing teething issues with the service, with one stating: "After a few days of installation, regular problems with no signal began. Either the router does not receive a signal, or the router is unable to perform automatic updates". It is essential to note that Hyperoptic is not universally available - you can check its availability in your area by entering your postcode and address.
