Lady Gabriella Windsor shares what Princess Kate was like to work with | Royal | News![]() Lady Gabriella Windsor has praised the Princess of Wales in a rare interview after joining the royal at her Together At Christmas carol service last year. The 44-year-old, who is a second cousin of King Charles, was hugely supported by the Royal Family following the death of her husband, Thomas Kingston, last February. Gabriella, known to family and friends as Ella, was invited by the Princess of Wales to advise at her festive event, which is held annually at Westminster Abbey in London. Speaking exclusively to HELLO! Magazine, the daughter of Prince and Princess Michael of Kent, said that Kate, 43, was "lovely to work with" and called the royal invitation an "honour." She told the publication: "It was such an honour to be involved, and very thoughtful and kind-hearted of the Princess [of Wales] to include me [in the carol concert]. "I was very touched. She was so lovely to work with, always gracious, very creative and with so much vision and passion for the many charities and causes she supports." Speaking of the festive event, Ella - who is a singer and songwriter - described it as a "brilliant idea". Ella added: "The Princess’s carol concert is such a brilliant event and idea, to thank and shine a light on hundreds of the most outstanding charities in the UK." Speaking of her gratitude of helping with the project, Ella revealed that her role was "to support on the musical side of things, and to put forward artists and ideas". The Oxford-graduate also opened up about her new role as the patron of the charity Restore The Music. HELLO! reported that the foundation, which was founded by equity and managing partner of Elliott Investment, Gordon Singer, provides top notch musical instruments for schools across the country and has so far helped over 110,000 young people. Writing in a statement for the Restore The Music website, Gabriella wrote: "...It is such an honour to serve as Patron to this exceptional charity which creates opportunities for children to thrive through the power of music".
