U.S. speed skater Jordan Stolz sweeps Calgary races to extend season unbeaten streak




American speed skating star Jordan Stolz has won the men's 500 metres at a World Cup in Calgary.

The 20-year-old has yet to lose a race this season in the 500, 1,000 and 1,500 metres.

He went 3-for-3 at the Olympic Oval. Stolz won the 500 in a time of 33.85 seconds.

The American will carry his unbeaten streak into the next World Cup in his home state in Milwaukee, Wis.

Laurent Dubreuil of Levis, Que., placed fifth.

Femke Kok of the Netherlands won the women's 500 metres.
