PS Plus December 2024 Extra games - Robocop, Hogwarts Legacy and Jusant lead predictions | Gaming | Entertainment

PS Plus subscribers will be hoping for some festive cheer courtesy of the Extra and Premium games for December 2024.

The final batch of PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium games will be unveiled by Sony on the afternoon of December 11. The PS4 and PS5 games will be available to download and play the following week.

While it's been something of a mixed bag in terms of PS Plus Extra games this year, some of the more optimistic subscribers are predicting big things for December.

With the November PS Plus Extra line-up headlined by Dying Light 2 and the returning GTA 5, fans will certainly be hoping for something better in December.

In the monthly predictions thread over on Reddit, some fans believe the likes of Hogwarts Legacy, God of War Ragnarok and Resident Evil 4 Remake could join PS Plus Extra in December.

God of War Ragnarok certainly feels like a contender for PS Plus Extra, especially if Sony wants to end 2024 with a bang.

Resident Evil 4 Remake also feels like a realistic pick, although I'm not so convinced that we'll be seeing Hogwarts Legacy anytime soon.

Other popular picks include Forspoken, Atomic Heart and Suicide Squad, as well as climbing adventure game Jusant and first-person shooter Robocop Rogue City.

Ubisoft games always feature prominently in the predictions thread, with the likes of Assassin's Creed Mirage, Avatar Frontiers of Pandora, Prince of Persia The Lost Crown and The Crew Motorfest all appearing in the predictions thread.

We're also seeing regular picks for games such as Mortal Kombat 1, as well as superb Soulslike Lies of P and Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased his Name. With a new Like a Dragon game launching early next year, Like a Dragon Gaiden might get fans and new players suitably hyped.

Elsewhere, there's one pick for first-person horror game Still Wakes the Deep, another for South Park Snow Day, and predictions for the Crysis series.

Sony first-party games like Horizon Forbidden West and Spider-Man Remastered make an appearance, although no picks for Gran Turismo 7 following the release of My First Gran Turismo earlier this week.

Other games featured in the predictions thread include Sherlock Holmes, EA Sports WRC 24, Everspace 2, Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun, Pacific Drive, Lonely Mountain Downhill, Sonic Frontiers, Valkyrie Elysium, One Piece Odyssey, No Man's Sky, Wrestlequest, Hitman World of Assassination and Bluey.

That's on top of Gear Club Unlimited 2, Star Wars Jedi Survivor, Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew, High on Life, Atlas Fallen, Spyro Trilogy, Hades, Granblue Fantasy: Relink, Citizen Sleeper, Viewfinder, Harold Halibut, Hi Fi Rush, Lost Judgement and Cocoon.

Some of the more unrealistic choices include Cyberpunk 2077, Alan Wake 2 and the remastered Red Dead Redemption.

Daily Express will be back with the full line-up when the games are announced on December 11. It's also worth checking back for any leaks and additional information ahead of the official reveal later this week.
