‘We taste tested Baileys flavours and one was a clear winner'Christmas wouldn’t be Christmas without Baileys. The creamy drink has become a firm favourite in the UK and during the festive season. Seeing as many people are about to start their Christmas shop soon we thought we would test out some of the best Baileys flavours there. In total, we tried six different flavours of Baileys which are easily available online or in the supermarket across the UK. We then rated each flavour out of 10 to determine the results. One flavour stood out as a clear winner and it’s not what you may think. We drank responsibly and taste-tested the products over a few weeks for the article. Here are the results in no particular order. Baileys Original Irish CreamPrice: £13 from Waitrose in-store or online. Let’s start off with the OG when it comes to the drink. The rich vanilla flavour is enough to make shoppers keep coming back for more thanks to its delicious flavour and dairy cream taste. Overall score: 8/10 Baileys Deliciously LightPrice: £12 from Amazon online. For those who want fewer calories but don’t want to skip the taste then the Baileys Deliciously Light drink will become a new favourite. This flavour has 40 percent fewer calories than the Original but still has the rich creamy taste and is only slightly noticeable if you’re a fan of the classic drink. Overall score: 7/10 Baileys Chocolate LuxePrice: £15.99 from Amazon online. Another heavy pairing from the drinks brand with rich Belgian chocolate flavouring at the forefront with a note of caramel. One glass of the Chocolate Luxe as it makes you thirstier than before. Overall score: 5/10 Baileys Salted CaramelPrice: £16 from Morrisons in-store or online. A nice treat with the salted caramel adding another layer to the Irish cream drink. There is just enough sweetness from the extra ingredients that it isn’t overpowering. Overall score: 7/10 Baileys ChocolatePrice: £17.50 from Waitrose in-store or online. The Chocolate is probably the most rich out of all the Baileys flavours tested and requires people with a sweet tooth to fully enjoy it. The overall flavour of Belgian chocolate can be slightly overpowering and leave you wanting a different drink to get over it. Overall score: 5/10 Baileys Mint Choc ShakePrice: £27.99 from Amazon online. Some may say mint and chocolate are a match made in heaven and Baileys has hit the mark with this flavouring pairing. For an extra indulgence, we recommend pouring some into ice cream. Overall score: 9/10 Source link Posted: 2024-11-29 17:09:13 |
