PS5 30th Anniversary console and DualSense back in stock on this date and at this time | Gaming | Entertainment

PlayStation fans will have another opportunity to purchase the PS5 30th Anniversary Digital Edition console, as well as the Anniversary Edition DualSense controller.

At the time of writing, the US PlayStation Direct website has confirmed plans to restock the Anniversary-themed PS5 Slim and DualSense controller from 9am PT on October 29.

Unfortunately, however, there's currently no word on whether the UK PlayStation Direct website will also restock the console and gamepad.

As it stands, the 30th Anniversary PS5 Digital is listed as "currently unavailable", as is the 30th Anniversary DualSense controller.

It's worth checking out the PlayStation Direct website from 9am GMT if you're a UK customer looking to purchase one of the limited-time devices.

Daily Express will update this article with any official announcements and developments from Sony, so keep checking back for stock updates.

If you are in the market for the console or controller, then it's worth having multiple devices open and bank details ready.

Likewise, if you have a PlayStation account, then it's probably best to sign in before pre-orders go live.

The 30th Anniversary PlayStation 5 Digital Edition includes a themed console with a 1TB SSD, as well as a limited edition DualSense controller and a Console Cover if you ever decide to purchase a separate disc drive.

It also contains a handful of bonus items, including PlayStation Shape cable ties and a PlayStation paperclip.

The PS5 30th Anniversary DualSense controller features "throwback design elements" and a legacy colour scheme.

The design is said to pay homage to the original PlayStation console, which launched back in 1994.

The PS5 30th Anniversary console and controller will launch on November 21 in the UK. That's just two weeks after the release of the PS5 Pro.

Sony's new console aims to improve on the original PS5 in three main ways. Specifically with a bigger GPU, Advanced Ray-Tracing and AI-driven upscaling.

The GPU will provide rendering that's up to 45% faster thanks to 67% more Compute Units and 28% faster memory. This should lead to a better balance between visuals and performance.

Advanced Ray Tracing will provide "more dynamic reflection and refraction of light", which allows rays to be cast at double and sometimes even triple the speeds of the current PS5.

Then there's the AI Driven Upscaling, which is said to use "machine learning-based technology to provide super sharp image clarity by adding an extraordinary amount of detail".
