London’s transport system is set to undergo a major transformation with the ambitious £3.1 billion Bakerloo Line Extension project, which started in January 2024.

This infrastructure upgrade will significantly expand the Underground's Bakerloo line, stretching it from its current endpoint at Elephant & Castle through south London, with proposed new stations along Old Kent Road and Lewisham.
