Royal Family LIVE: Prince Harry's 'telling sign' royal feud is far fro | Royal | News

The Duke of Sussex travelled to the UK to attend his uncle Robert Fellowes' funeral in Norfork last week, but some questions arose to as where the royal decided to stay.

It has now been reported that Harry, who will celebrate his 40th birthday later this month, stayed with the late Princess Diana's brother - and his uncle - Earl Spencer at Althorp. Although it seems likely that Harry would have chosen to stay with family after flying in from California, the way the "information came to light is certainly intriguing" and could indicate that the royal feud is far from over.

Taking to her column for the Daily Mail, columnist Sarah Vine writes that this decision is "far from signalling some form of rapprochement with his estranged family".

She added: "Prince Harry could easily have been put up at one of the royal residences for this visit. The King has made it clear that his door is always open to his youngest son. But not only did Harry choose not to (in fact, he didn’t see his father at all on this trip, despite the fact that the King is still receiving treatment for cancer), he made a point of staying with Earl Spencer."
