Princess Kate was a summer sensation during her latest visit to a hospital in Essex, and fans were impressed. The Princess of Wales looked smart in a chic, earth-toned outfit as she discussed treatment and the importance of holistic cancer care with patients, volunteers and staff at Colchester Hospital's Wellbeing Centre.

Kate went for a look that consisted of new and preloved items, including a brand new striped shirt by Ralph Lauren (£570), her beloved beige pinstriped blazer by Blazé Milano she's been wearing sine 2023 and a pair of rich brown smart trousers. She completed her look with her trusted Veja trainers (£120), her Cartier Trinity hoops (£3,050), her Cartier Ballon Bleu de Cartier watch (£6,350) and her Bali birthstone pendant by Auree Jewelry (£425).

Royal fans could not get enough of Kate's look, with some dubbing her a "dream come true" and taking to social media to praise her.

One user wrote on X: "The Princess of Wales is a "dream come true." Her manner of promoting importance causes in attire to fit each occasion is HER master class."

A second fan added: "I love Catherine's blazer style! This combo knocks my socks off!" A third account said: "The Princess is so elegant and classy even while sporting a casual fashion look! Simply unequalled!"

A fourth one commented: "Her outfit is a superb choice. Smart to roll up the cuffs on the flattering striped shirt." A fifth person agreed, saying: "I really like her clothing, sporty but elegant at the same time, the Princess has an innate elegance."

And, a final fan concluded: "Gorgeous. The POW looks radiant. Great look; the beige jacket is enhanced by the dark brown trousers & the darker beige striped shirt. It’s easy to get lost in an all beige ensemble. Yes, ladies, we can wear trainers & still look polished and chic."

The princess, having been treated for cancer last year, spoke about the "life-changing" experience of the whole procedure from first diagnosis to post-treatment and noted on the "impact" it can have.

She said: "You have to find your new normal and that takes time. Someone described the sort of healing, recovery journey to me as being like a sort of zig-zag.

"It's a rollercoaster, it's not one smooth plain, which you expect it to be, but the reality is it's not, you go through hard times and to have a place like this, to have the support network, whether its through creativity and singing or gardening, whatever it might be, is so valuable and it's great that this community has it. It would be great if lots of communities had this kind of support."

She added: "There is this whole phase when you finish your treatment that you, yourself, everybody expects you, right you've finished your time, go, you're better, and that's not the case at all."

Kate announced back in January that she is now in remission and has been making a gradual return to royal duties ever since.
