Argos restocks Nintendo Switch 2 on Friday 13th but customers will need to hurry | Gaming | Entertainment

After quickly selling out of units at launch, Argos has announced plans to once again restock the Nintendo Switch 2.

In an email sent to customers, Argos confirmed that the Switch 2 will be back in stock from 8am BST UK time on the morning of June 13.

As part of the restock, Argos customers will be able to buy the regular Switch 2 console with no games for £395.99, as well as the Mario Kart bundle for £429.99.

Needless to say, the Switch 2 consoles are expected to sell out quickly, so Argos customers will need to rush to get their hands on one.

The news was announced in an email sent by Argos: "Argos is pleased to announce a limited restock of the Nintendo Switch 2 this Friday.

"From 8am on 13th June, customers can shop the newest evolution of the console online and in store and with Argos's same day click and collect service, they can have it up and running before the weekend."

As the email points out, Argos customers can collect orders on the same day, or opt for same and next day delivery on select items.

Argos also offers various payment schemes such as Klarna, meaning you can buy now and pay later.

According to Argos, Switch 2 searches on its website are up by 241%, while Switch 2 wishlisting is up by 433%.

It looks like additional bundles may also be available to purchase when the console is restocked at 8am BST.

The Nintendo Switch 2 makes a number of improvements over the original console, including a bigger screen and superior JoyCons.

The Switch 2 display measures in at 7.9-inches and comes with HDR support and a maximum refresh rate of 120Hz.

The JoyCons are bigger than their predecessors, and can also be used like a PC mouse. This makes them ideal for genres like first-person shooters, strategy and classic adventure games.

Needless to say, the console itself is more powerful, which means it can offer an experience closer to the PS5 and Xbox Series X.

Hopefully this means we'll finally get a new Call of Duty game for Nintendo Switch 2, as well as other third-party releases like EA Sports FC 26 and more.
