Water marks on shower screen will disappear using simple technique

A mum has shared her game-changing hack for cleaning shower screens, which has been branded a 'lifesaver'.

Shower screens can be notoriously tricky to clean, with watermarks and limescale build-up proving difficult to shift if left to accumulate over time. Cleaning the bathroom can be a daunting task, with multiple areas to focus on, including the sink, toilet, shower, and bath.

Scrubbing watermarks off shower screens can be a tedious and tricky task without the right tools or products. However, a mum who runs the TikTok page My Little Home, where she shares cleaning and home content, has shared her simple yet effective shower screen cleaning hack.

She explained that she was a self-confessed "terror" in her younger years, but after getting married and setting up her own home, she realised she lacked basic cooking and cleaning skills. She taught herself using online resources and now shares her expertise with others.

The mum began by saying: "Starting off with the shower screen because if your shower screen is dirty the rest of the bathroom ends up looking dirty." Her hack involves using a refillable Dishmatic brush filled with equal parts Fairy liquid and white vinegar.

She recommends running the brush under the tap to get it slightly wet before thoroughly scrubbing the shower screen. The cleaning enthusiast added: "Top tip - you can do this while you're having a shower.

"I like to do this while I've got my hair mask in and then you're literally killing two birds with one stone. If you do this every day in your shower you're not going to have a big build up of water marks which means it's going to be a lot quicker."

She carried on by using her window vac to clear the shower screen, but mentioned for those without one, a standard squeegee will do just fine. Then she moved onto liberally applying any shower screen or window cleaner on both sides of the shower screen.

Taking a microfiber cloth, she cleaned the exterior side of the shower screen but refrained from wiping the inner side after learning that you're "not supposed to rub it in." Wrapping up her video, the mum declared: "I've seen loads of shower screen hacks but I think this one works the best.

"I know the before and after isn't that crazy because I did clean this the other day but if you have serious water marks I promise you this is gonna be amazing." Her TikTok tutorial has received 227,400 views, 6,481 likes, and several comments until now.

One TikToK user exclaimed: "Honestly this hack is such a lifesaver! I remember when I tried it for the first time after finding it and I was shocked to see how well it worked!!" While another chimed in saying: "Love this!!"
