Everyone with a Tesco Clubcard urged to act before July 20![]() Everyone with a Tesco Clubcard is being urged to exchange 250 of their points before the end of July 20 to be in with a chance of becoming a ‘Points Millionaire’ overnight. In celebration of 30 years of Clubcard, the supermarket chain is giving away one million Virgin points to a lucky Clubcard member, which can then be used to travel the world. One million Virgin Points could get you a six-night stay at Ulusaba, in South Africa – one of Virgin Limited Edition’s luxury properties – for an ultimate safari getaway, a luxury cruise with Virgin Voyages, or money off flights. Tesco is also giving away 500,000 points for five-runners up as well and these points can then be spent on reward flight, upgrades or combined with cash to pay for a holiday. To be in with a chance of bagging the ultimate 1,000,000 points, Tesco Clubcard holders simply need to auto-exchange a minimum of 250 points by July 20, 2025, with Virgin Red or Virgin Atlantic Flying Club. Auto-exchange means Tesco Clubcard points will automatically be converted into Virgin Points with each quarterly Clubcard statement. All customers, whether new or existing, who auto-exchange their 250 Clubcard points into Virgin Points will automatically be entered into the draw. Alternatively you can complete a ‘Request Virgin Points’ order with Virgin Red or Virgin Atlantic Flying Club between May 5, 2025, and July 20, 2025. You must remain signed up to automatically exchange your Clubcard points into Virgin Points on July 20, 2025 and have at least 250 Tesco Clubcard points in your Tesco Clubcard account as of 11.59pm BST on this date, or have completed a Request Virgin Points order between 00.00 BST, 5 May 2025 and 11.59pm BST, 20 July 2025. Virgin Atlantic Flying Club is one of Tesco’s exclusive rewards partners, allowing Clubcard holders to double the value of their points when they make a purchase with the airline. As a member of Virgin Atlantic Flying Club, you’ll be able to earn points every time you travel with Virgin Atlantic and 25 of its partner airlines, including Air France and KLM, giving you a whole host of travel options. And as an added bonus, Virgin Points don’t have an expiry date so once you're earned them they are yours to keep for as long as you like. You can turn every Clubcard point into two Virgin Points, so £1.50 in Clubcard vouchers will get you 300 Virgin Points. Kelly Best, Managing Director of Product, Customer Experience and Marketing at Virgin Red, said: "We’re thrilled to be celebrating Tesco Clubcard’s 30th birthday with a truly extraordinary giveaway.
