Air fryer roast potatoes will be 'crispy and golden' with 1 unusual ingredient![]() Roast potatoes are the ultimate side for many dishes. Their crunchy outsides and versatility are just something you can't beat, and the fact that you can make them in the air fryer is another winning feature. Whilst a bit of salt and pepper is enough to give you delicious roasties, one food blogger believes adding one ingredient can elevate this side dish to new levels. Diana, the creator of the blog Little Sunny Kitchen, suggests fellow cooks pick up one unusual ingredient during their next shop - fajita seasoning. She wrote in her recipe: "I like to change things up and sometimes use different seasonings to make different variations of roasted potatoes." To make the delicious air fryer roasties, which the blogger said will be "crispy and golden", all you need is potatoes, oil, and seasonings including smoked paprika, garlic granules, and of course the fajita seasoning. Once you have all your ingredients ready, you can begin to make the potatoes in just a few steps. First decide whether you would like the potatoes skin off or on, cut them into one inch pieces and toss the potatoes with olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic granules, and season them with the fajita seasoning. "Make sure that the potatoes are well coated in oil and seasonings," she added. Then you want to place the potatoes in the air fryer basket and roast them at 380F or 195C for 10 minutes. After the first 10 minutes are up, flip the potatoes and roast them for a further 10 minutes. Just like that you're left with yummy roast potatoes with a different flavour. If you like your potatoes extra cripsy then Diana recommends preheating your air fryer for five minutes. Make sure to use tongs rather to flip the potatoes rather than shaking them as that won't flip them all and can cause some of the potatoes to break. The roasties should be served hot and you can garnish them with some chopped parsley. Source link Posted: 2025-06-03 14:44:38 |
