F1 LIVE: Lewis Hamilton slams FIA as second grid change confirmed | F1 | Sport![]() Lewis Hamilton hasn't held back with his criticism of the FIA. Commenting on the introduction of a new rule clamping down on front wing flexibility, the seven-time world champion described it as a "waste of money". Speaking at the Spanish Grand Prix, he explained: "Just wasted everyone's money. It's literally changed nothing. "Everyone's wings still bend, it's just half the bending, and everyone's had to make new wings and spend more money to make these. It just doesn't make sense." He added: "I drove it on the simulator, and it's pretty much exactly the same," Hamilton said. "A little bit more oversteer in the high speed. Could have given it all to charity, you know?" It's estimated new front wings can cost as much as £100,000. Source link Posted: 2025-06-01 11:43:14 |
