That's Christmas sorted - New Evercade arcade machine launching in 2025 | Gaming | Entertainment

Evercade has just announced a raft of new games and hardware, including a brand new Bartop Arcade Machine launching in November.

Following on from last year's Capcom Arcade Machines, Evercade has announced plans to release a Taito Bartop on November 12.

The device comes with a selection of built-in games, including Rastan, Space Invaders and Puzzle Bobble.

The upcoming arcade machine can be pre-ordered from the Funstock website for £199.99. The perfect Christmas present for retro gaming fans, the device will cost £229.99 at launch.

Needless to say, the arcade machine will be compatible with existing Evercade cartridges, which means you can also play collections from the likes of Atari, NeoGeo, Toaplan and Irem.

The device is also said to contain "authentic, competition-grade arcade controls", as well as a bright 8-inch display and built-in stereo speakers.

Fans can further customise the Evercade Alpha by swapping the light-up marquee panels between Bubble Bobble, Space Invaders and Rastan-themed artwork.

Dual USB ports and support for Evercade-compatible controllers means you can play co-op and competitive multiplayer on the device.

In addition to announcing the Taito Bartop, Evercade also announced new cartridges and gameplay, including Roguecraft DX and NeoGeo Arcade Collection 1.
