People in the city have been reacting to the shocking development, that followed a day of celebration on the streets of Liverpool. @brookefulstow wrote on X: "Very distressing to witness a car ramming the crowd on Water Street after the Liverpool Parade. Really hope the people that were hit are ok. Very close call for us." Talking to Sky News, one fan said: "We were like sardines walking up the street, we heard a lot of beeping and screaming and when we looked up there was a black people carrier driving straight towards.
