Argos shoppers running out of time to buy Nintendo Switch 2 essential at new low price | Gaming | Entertainment

The Nintendo Switch 2 launches in a couple of weeks, complete with big first and third-party games like Mario Kart World and Cyberpunk 2077. The Nintendo Switch 2 makes a host of improvements over the original console, including a bigger display, superior JoyCons and a brand new GameChat feature.

The Switch 2 also supports 4K visuals and 120 frames-per-second when docked, which brings it up to speed with the likes of the PS5 and Xbox Series X. With this in mind, there's never been a better time to pick up a cutting-edge new TV, which is why you might want to pay a visit to Argos.

The UK retailer is currently holding its BIG Red sale, which includes big discounts on hundreds of items, including premium tech products.

This includes the 55-inch LG OLED 55B46LA 4K TV, which is available with a 10% discount as part of the Argos BIG Red event.

The TV supports 4K visuals and comes with HDMI 2.1, which means you can play games at 120 frames-per-second.

The TV typically costs £899.99, but can be yours for just £809.99 by using the code RED10 at checkout.

Just click the link above and use the code to make the saving. However, you'll need to act fast, because the sale ends on June 3, just a couple of days before the launch of the Nintendo Switch 2.

The item is proving popular with customers, who are running out of time to take advantage of the discount.

In addition to 4K HDR support and HDMI 2.1, the 55-inch TV comes with a host of smart features, such as streaming apps like Netflix and Amazon Prime.

The Nintendo Switch 2 release date was announced during a recent Direct conference, alongside a boatload of new games.

The new Nintendo console will launch on June 5, alongside games like Mario Kart World, Nintendo Switch 2 Welcome Tour, Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition, Fortnite, and Hogwarts Legacy.

Additional first and third-party games will be available in the weeks and months after launch, including Donkey Kong Bananza on July 17 and Metroid Prime 4: Beyond later in the year.

Nintendo will also release enhanced versions of existing Switch games, including upgraded editions of Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom.

The Switch 2 Enhanced games will feature improved visuals, smoother frame-rates and in some cases and new content.

Breath of the Wild, for example, comes with a companion app that provides information about each area and an improved map.
