John Wayne is a titan of the Hollywood Golden Age, best known for some of the most iconic Westerns ever made.

To mark what would have been Duke’s birthday this month, ad-supported video on demand (AVOD) channel Fawesome has spotlighted his movies available to stream.

The app, which can be downloaded on Smart TVs and phones for casting, offers films to watch for free with ads.

Among those of Wayne’s included are John Ford-directed classics Stagecoach, Fort Apache, The Searchers and The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance.

Other highlights are Rio Bravo, True Grit, Chisum, Big Jake, The Cowboys and Rio Lobo. Additionally, there are a couple of documentaries looking back at his legacy and behind the scenes on set. It’s worth noting that not all the films are available in the UK without using a VPN, but a number from his early career are, such as Angel and the Badman, The Lucky Texan, Stagecoach Run, and Winds of the Wasteland.
