McDonald’s has announced a shake up to its menu for May, revealing a flurry of brand new items and returning favourites that go on sale tomorrow. The new menu will be landing in restaurants across the UK on Wednesday, May 7 - including a brand new Breakfast Saver Menu.

From an exciting new frozen drink launch to returning fan favourites including burgers, desserts, drinks and sides - there’s something for everyone at McDonald’s in May. New additions to the menu include the Frozen Cherry Lemonade to help you beat the heat, as well as fan favourites Biscoff® McFlurry® and Biscoff® Frappe returning. McDonald’s UK is shaking up mornings with the launch of its first ever Breakfast Saver Menu.

Packed with delicious, satisfying options at unbeatable prices, the menu is being trialled in 332 restaurants from Wednesday, May 7, for a short period of time before launching even further later this year.

Designed to bring delicious flavours and great value to breakfast lovers, the new menu also features a must-try Sausage Sandwich and a Saver Bacon Roll priced at just £1.99 and £2.19, respectively. Selected restaurants across the region will also be offering a Breakfast Bundle Deal where people can nab a Sausage Sandwich or a Saver Bacon Roll with a selected drink for just £2.99.

Other features on the new Breakfast Saver Menu include fan favourites like the Cheesy Bacon Flatbread, hearty Porridge, crisp Apple Slices, golden Hash Browns and refreshing Tropicana® Orange and Apple Juice.

The McSpicy® X Frank’s RedHot® is making its grand return to restaurants on May 7. Brace yourself for a bold, fiery flavour experience with the McSpicy® X Frank’s RedHot®.

100 per cent chicken breast in a hot and crispy coating, topped with crunchy lettuce, cheese made with Emmental, jalapeños, slivered onions, and of course, the deliciously unique (and spicy) Frank’s RedHot® Mayo – all packed into a toasted sesame seed bun.

You’ll also be able to purchase the brand new Frank’s RedHot® Mayo dip separately to spice up any item on the menu - something that’s completely exclusive to the UK. But hold on, there’s more – when you buy McSpicy® X Frank’s RedHot® via the McDonald’s App you receive double the points.

The Steakhouse Stack is also making its return this May. One of McDonald’s most decadent beef burgers, featuring two juicy 100 per cent British and Irish beef patties, topped with cheddar cheese, crispy onions, red onions, and fresh lettuce, all drizzled with a savoury black peppercorn sauce and served in a toasted glazed sesame bun.

The Katsu Chicken One wrap and the Cheesy Garlic Bread Dippers are also here to stay on the menu for May. Plus there’s also something for kids this month.

Pokemon fans will be able to get their hands on a limited edition The Dragon-Type Pokemon Happy Meal. From May 14 to June 17, each limited-edition Happy Meal will feature one of eight Dragon-Type Pokémon toys or one of two Little People Big Dreams books, ‘I Can Make Amazing Music’ or ‘I Can Be a Wonderful Artist’.
