Debenhams reduces 'very easy to put up' garden pergola by £110

With the arrival of sunny days and blossoming flowers, it's the perfect time for outdoor enthusiasts to enjoy their gardens. However, depending on the orientation of the garden, shoppers may experience varying levels of sunlight throughout the day, which can affect enjoyment of a morning cuppa while admiring horticultural handiwork.

For those seeking additional shade and a stylish touch to their outdoor space, a pergola could be the answer. One particular model sold by Debenhams has been receiving rave reviews. The Outsunny 4x3(m) Metal Pergola, currently discounted from £329.99 to £219.99 - a saving of 33%, boasts a retractable canopy, allowing shoppers to adjust the level of shade to preference.

The canopy features a UV-resistant coating for sun safety, and those worried about the structure's longevity, the metal frame is reinforced with a powder coating for added strength.

However, pergolas do require a semi-permanent spot in the garden, so shoppers that prefer a temporary structure, may find a gazebo a better choice. There are plenty of affordable options available, including the Home 3m x 3m Pop up Garden Gazebo from Argos, priced at £110, reports the Mirror.

Garden enthusiasts are snapping up pergolas on Wowcher, with the 3x2m Outsunny retractable garden model, a steal at £139, though a heads-up—the delivery will set you back an additional £38.99.

Buyers have been quick to praise the Outsunny pergola's ease of assembly and visual appeal, as one satisfied customer reported: "Took four of us to put it together, very sturdy, looks amazing."

Another chuffed buyer shared their experience on Aosom: "Easy to order, fast delivery and helpful delivery driver. Price was best on (the) internet. This will be a great addition to our garden."

Yet another added: "Fast delivery and quality product, much cheaper than other stores."

That said, not all reviews were without gripes. Despite the overall positive reception, one buyer who handed out four stars remarked on some minor hiccups: "No problems to date, needs at least two to assemble, some washers missing and (the) magnet to hold (the) cover open does not work (have to tie in place)."
