Bednarek takes 100mAmerican star, Kenny Bednarek won the men's 100-metre short sprints race in 9.79. Canadians Jerome Blake and Andre De Grasse finish 7th, 8th respectively. Both finished in over 10 seconds with Blake clocking 10.04 and De Grasse finishing in 10.05.
