Princess Eugenie shares rare glimpse of her son in new photo | Royal | News

Princess Eugenie posted a rare photo of her son on Easter Sunday. The youngest daughter of Prince Andrew took to Instagram to share the picture of her youngest child Ernest.

The picture shows Princess Eugenie crouched down next to her two-year-old son while they look out onto a lake. She is wearing a yellow dress while Ernest is in a navy jumper.

Ernest, whose full name is Ernest George Ronnie Brooksbank, was named after his great-great-great-grandfather George V. He is currently 13th in line to the throne behind his older brother August.

Princess Eugenie's post on Instagram was simply captioned: "Happy Easter". It has since received a number of comments from followers who wished her a Happy Easter in return.

The Princess joined the Royal Family for the traditional Easter service at St George's Chapel on Sunday. The 35-year-old appeared alongside her elder sister Beatrice, 36.

They were photographed alongside their respective husbands, Jack Brooksbank and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi. Their father, the Duke of York, also made a surprise appearance at the event at Windsor Castle.

The royal sisters were also joined by Princess Anne, Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence and the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh. Prince Edward and Sophie's son, 17-year-old James, Earl of Wessex, were also present.

Eugenie wore a white belted Reiss coat and a veiled hat for the occasion. She received praise for her perfect courtesy when formally greeting her uncle, King Charles, as he and Queen Camilla arrived at St George's Chapel.

Meanwhile, her sister Beatrice, who donned a forest green Beulah London midi dress, was also seen dipping into a curtsy. It is common practice that all members of the royal family, including those with His/Her Royal Highness (HRH) titles, bow or curtsy to the monarch and his wife when greeting them for the first time that day.
