Fortnite x Star Wars Season reveal date, time and how to watch Star Wars Celebration live | Gaming | Entertainment

Fortnite Chapter 6, Season 3 will take place a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away. Launching in the coming weeks, the new Fortnite season will have a Star Wars theme, which means new crossover skins, items and locations from the popular film and TV series.

Fans will find out more about the new Fortnite x Star Wars season during a special live stream taking place during the Star Wars Celebration LIVE event happening this weekend.

An Epic Games spokesperson told Daily Express that the Fortnite x Star Wars season reveal will be broadcast live from around 2am BST UK time on April 20. That's 6pm PDT on April 19 for fans living in the US.

"Tune in on April 20 beginning around 2am BST / 3am CEST to the Star Wars Celebration LIVE stream on the StarWars.com homepage or YouTube.com/StarWars to catch a special Fortnite segment and announcement," an Epic spokesperson revealed.

Fans can watch the action unfold live by visiting the Star Wars YouTube channel. Epic Games will also share the footage after the event ends.

"Can’t catch the show live? Keep your eyes on the Fortnite social channels post show for details," Epic adds.

Fortnite developer Epic Games has been teasing something Star Wars related over the course of the past week.

In a recent post on X, Epic said: "Tomorrow will be here soon enough and something out of this galaxy arrives with it!"

The Death Star will reportedly make an appearance in the current season of Fortnite, so keep an eye out in the skies.

The appearance of the Death Star in the skies above the island suggests Epic is planning an end of season event.

The Fortnite x Star Wars event caps off another busy week in the world of Fortnite.

As part of the latest update, Epic Games recently launched a Chapter 2-inspired Slurp Rush map for Reload.

The Slurp Rush miniature map contains eight points of interest for players to explore. This includes Steamy Stacks, LogJam Logging, Fort Crumpet and Boomin Base. That's on top of Dirty Dock, Stilt-Town, Lockdown Lighthouse and the eponymous Slurpy Swamp.

The new Reload release also coincides with the return of a handful of weapons, including the Combat Shotgun, the Maven Shotgun and the Mammoth Pistol.

This was followed by the release of two new WWE skins in time for Wrestlemania. Fortnite fans can pick up the Cody Rhodes and Undertaker skins, as well as a selection of items and emotes ahead of this weekend's event in Las Vegas.
