Prince Harry made a secret trip to Ukraine this week after appearing in London for two days of court hearings regarding his security rights in the UK.

The Duke of Sussex, 40, reportedly flew from the UK to the Ukraine on Thursday as part of his role as founder of the Invictus Games Foundation. The prince, who founded the organisation to help ex-military personnel and veterans in 2014, made the trip with a group from the Invictus Games Foundation. This included four veterans who had undergone rehabilitation experiences. During his time in the war-hit country, the duke visited the Superhumans charity in the western Ukrainian city of Lviv, which supports the recovery and rehabilitation for wounded, injured and sick service personnel and veterans.

Rob Owen, chief executive of the Invictus Games Foundation, has said in a statement since: "Ukraine had been a vital part of the foundation since participating in the Invictus Games Toronto 2017

"This visit to the Superhumans charity in Ukraine underscores the Invictus Games Foundation's broader commitment to supporting recovery and rehabilitation for wounded injured and sick service personnel and veterans, even in the most challenging environments."

During the visit, Harry met with war victims and medical professionals. The duke also met Ukraine's Minister of Veterans Affairs Natalia Kalmykova, according to GB News.

It is believed the dad-of-two was in Ukraine just for the day, with his visit only announced once he had left the country. This decision was made as a result of security concerns.

The private visit came about after an invitation was made by Olga Rudneva, CEO of Superhumans, during the Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler 2025.

It is believed Prince Harry is now set to fly home to Montecito after almost a week away from his wife Meghan Markle, 43, and their two children Prince Archie, five, and Princess Lilibet, three.
