Jennifer Aniston opens up about her favourite movie | Films | Entertainment

Jennifer Aniston rose to fame in the 90s sitcom Friends starring as Rachel Green in the lovable comedy. The 1994 sitcom spanned 10 seasons over 10 years – and re-runs of the episodes are still enjoyed today on the likes of Netflix, Apple TV, Amazon Prime Video, and YouTube. It was during this time that Jennifer began a high-profile relationship with Brad Pitt, whom she married in July 2000.

Brad later featured in season eight, episode nine of Friends, as "Will" – an old school friend who wasn't too keen on his then-wife's character, Rachel Green. Rising to superstardom, it's rumoured Jennifer received around £1million per episode near the end of the hugely successful comedy series.

With Friends finishing in May 2004, it was time for Jennifer to move onto new projects – and a new lover.

Her marriage to Brad had ended in divorce because of "irreconcilable differences", and she moved on to date Vince Vaughn – who happened to be her co-star in The Break Up (2006).

While Jennifer and Vaughn didn't last long, the actress continued to play the main character in many more movies to come.

Some of her best-known works include Marley and Me (2008), Horrible Bosses (2011), We're The Millers (2013), and Murder Mystery (2019).

In the book You Gotta See This, by author Cindy Pearlman, there's a passage where Jennifer reveals her all-time favorite film.

In the book, Jennifer is quoted as declaring her adoration for the 1983 comedy melodrama Terms Of Endearment.

"I’ve seen Terms Of Endearment hundreds of times," Jennifer said. "It’s one of those movies where you can turn it on or catch it at any point, and it just makes me burst into tears."

The two-hour film is about a mother and daughter's relationship as they navigate loss, betrayal and love.

Big stars such as Jack Nicholson, Shirley MacLaine and Danny DeVito star in the Oscar award-winning film feature.

On the International Movie Database (IMDb), one reviewer said the film is "a work of art".

Rating the movie nine out of 10 stars, another reviewer said: "Terms Of Endearment is an undeniably gripping and emotional film experience that will have you rolling on the floor during one scene and weeping uncontrollably during the next."

Meanwhile, somebody else said the film is "overrated" but still scored it a seven out of 10.
