Where to pre-order Nintendo Switch 2 in UK and the retailers yet to drop | Gaming | Entertainment![]() Despite an official pre-order date of April 8, Nintendo Switch 2 pre-orders have started to go live across the UK. If you want to pre-order the new Nintendo console ahead of its June launch, then the links below will take you to Switch 2 store pages for each of the retailers that are selling the console. Express.co.uk will keep this story updated with the latest stock news and pre-order information, and will add more shop links as additional retailers begin selling the console. Even if the console is listed as out of stock when you try to pre-order, it's worth checking back regularly in the lead up to June. Retailers are likely to be allocated more stock in the days, weeks and months ahead, similar to how the PS5 was in and out of stock in the early days of the console's launch. Likewise, don't be surprised if retailers are allocated more stock for the original April 8 pre-order date. The retailers already offering Switch 2 pre-ordersArgos, Very and Smyths were among the first retailers to start offering Switch 2 pre-orders, although it didn't take long for the initial stock allocation to sell out. Amazon is also giving customers the ability to pre-order the Nintendo Switch 2 ahead of its June launch, albeit by invitation only. Simply visit the Switch 2 page on the Amazon website, request and invite, and wait for an email confirming whether or not you can pre-order from the retailer. Eager Nintendo fans can also pre-order the Switch 2 from Currys, but according to the Currys website, will have to visit their local store in person to secure the console. Dedicated gaming retailer GAME is also offering Switch 2 pre-orders ahead of the June 5 launch, while fellow gaming retailer ShopTo is listed as sold out following a registration period set up earlier this year. The retailers yet to open Nintendo Switch 2 pre-ordersWhile most of the big retailers are offering pre-orders, there are a couple of outlets missing from the initial pre-order drop, including the actual Nintendo Store. The Nintendo Store is still advertising pre-orders from April 8, so it's worth checking out the website on the day. Then there are places like EE, which often does gaming bundles exclusively for customers. Daily Express has contacted EE to see if they have anything planned. As a reminder, the Switch 2 comes in two different editions. There's the standard version with no games for £395.99, or a bundle containing the Switch 2 console and Mario Kart World for £429.99.
