Sky just made buying Apple's all-new MacBook Air feel far more affordable

There's a new MacBook Air in town, and you might want to consider an upgrade. As you can read in our full MacBook Air 2025 review, this latest laptop from Apple impresses thanks to a powerful M4 processor tucked under its aluminium body. There's also more RAM as standard (16GB, up from 8GB on entry-level models), an improved camera with clever Centre Stage technology, and it comes in a striking new Sky Blue colour.

There are also all the usual features such as a pin-sharp display, long battery life, good keyboard and market-leading Force Touch trackpad.

Apple has even slashed the price this year with things now starting from just £999 - that's £100 less that the M3 model cost when it launched last year.

The new Air is a solid option for anyone needing a new MacBook without going Pro but if £999 sounds a little too much in a one-off payment there are other options.

Currently, Sky Mobile is offering this new machine for just £22 per month with a £2 upfront fee.

They will even throw in a 100MB data SIM for free as part of the deal.

You will have to sign up for a long-term 48-month contract, but the total price is just over £1,050, which isn't much more than buying directly from Apple.

If you happen to get bored of the device - Sky will even let you switch after 36 months.

The only thing that might put you off this deal is if you have a current machine you no longer want or need. Until April 2, Apple is offering a trade-in discount, which means you'll get money off when you hand over an older MacBook.

"Get credit towards a new Mac when you trade in your eligible computer," Apple explained.

It's definitely worth getting a quote to see what Apple will offer for your ageing laptop, although you will have to pay the full amount first.

"Answer a few questions to get your estimated trade-in value. Pay the full amount today and we’ll credit your payment method after we’ve received and evaluated your trade-in," Apple added.
