People are cheering on a teacher for her brilliant retort to a nasty online troll who branded her "fake".

Being a teacher is one of the most fulfilling professions – witnessing students flourish and knowing you've contributed to their growth both personally and academically. Yet, it's not without its trials, from managing student behaviour to dealing with parents and juggling work-life balance.

One US educator, brimming with passion for her vocation even after hours, has received praise online. Miss Jenny regularly posts photos en route to work or in her classroom, often accompanied by uplifting messages or innovative ideas to enhance children's education on X. Parents adore the mum and primary school teacher, showering her with praise and gratitude online.

But she also faces her share of unpleasant remarks. In a recent incident, Jenny had a sharp comeback for a troll who sniped, "the fakest teacher I've seen on here [X]".

This was in response to a post Jenny shared on X last April, where she introduced herself: "I'm a 3rd grade teacher in Idaho! I love math and being with children. Teaching is the hardest, yet most rewarding job ever!" She also expressed gratitude to those who supported her Amazon wish list for classroom essentials, as well as gift cards for personal use.

Although Jenny received plenty of kind comments, she was also targeted with abuse by one account, which said: "You are the fakest teacher I've seen on here. Fake hair, fake eyelashes, lip filler. You probably go and f*** your dad every night because he is the only one that would love someone as fake as you. Are you really a teacher? Or is that just a line to get people to buy stuff off Amazon."

Jenny, however, fired back with her response: "Well 'Greg', no fake eyelashes, lip filler, or hair. I'm an actual teacher and can't afford that stuff. My dad passed away five years ago, so there's that."

In a message filled with kindness, Jenny said: "Thanks for reminding me how words play an important part in this life. I'll remember to be kind. I hope you find a smile today somewhere."

Following the exchange, Jenny received messages of support from people online, who praised her dignity and dedication in the face of the shocking abuse. One said: "Class act. We need more teachers like you."

Another comment added: "Thank you Jenny. You're clearly an incredible person and dedicated in service to others. Your father is so proud! The way you handled "miserable" Greg was astounding. Pure class(pun intended)."

The praise for Jenny continued to pour in with people praising her for overcoming the shocking abuse.

Another person said: "So sorry this happened to you, Jenny. That's completely unacceptable and no one deserves to be treated that way. Please keep in mind that those words do not define your worth. You are strong, loved and deserving of kindness. Sending you lots of love, support and positive vibes."
