Gordon Ramsay's one tip for scrambled eggs that will make them more fluffy

Top chef Gordon Ramsay has a special ingredient he adds to scrambled eggs and you won't regret giving this recipe a go.

The chef is known for his eggs and one of his tips will make your eggs fluffier and creamier.

Adding creme fraiche will enhance the flavour of your eggs and make them tastier than usual.

Another tip the chef says is to never whisk the eggs, instead you should use a rubber spatula to break up the egg after cracking it whole into the frying pan.

Ramsay prefers to fold the eggs while they cook in butter, he says this technique will allow them to have less of a grainy consistency.

If you’re wondering when to add the creme fraiche, you should do this right before taking the eggs out of the pan.

By adding cold dairy to the mix, this will ensure the eggs won’t be overcooked.

To make your eggs even fluffier, you should add water instead of milk which will make the eggs more dense.

Ramsay usually cooks the eggs for around four minutes and he never adds salt before cooking which is common amongst others.

For tender scrambled eggs, you want to cook them gently, since high heat can turn scrambled eggs rubbery.

The chef cooks his eggs over medium heat, pulling the pan off the heat as soon as the curds start to thicken, and allowing the eggs to continue to cook off the heat source for 20 seconds before returning to medium heat for 90 seconds.

If you’re looking to be more creative with the way you serve eggs, you could change things up and serve them on a croissant with smoked salmon.

A more classic choice may be on buttered, toasted brioche or sourdough bread instead of normal toast.

You could also serve them topped with fresh herbs, such as freshly snipped chives which will add new flavours to your eggs.

If you’re hoping to make a nice brunch, you could serve with a side of sautéd tomatoes and mushrooms.
