Wheeler Dealers’ Mike Brewer's heartbreaking news on stolen Ford FiestaWheeler Dealers star Mike Brewer has issued a heartbreaking update on the stolen Ford Fiesta Mk1 taken from production crews over 18 months ago. The star of the classic car restoration series stressed he had lost hope the Fiesta would still be uncovered in one piece. Mike revealed he was confident the model was “never going to be found” and even confessed he was not searching for any new leads to find it. The presenter admitted fans of the series had asked him for details on the model for well over a year since the original episode aired on Discovery. He issued the heartbreaking news on a small video uploaded to social media account X earlier this week. Speaking on X, Mike said: “Thanks for all your messages, really appreciate it, just so you're clear the Fiesta hasn't been found. “I've been asked that question for over a year now. If it had you’d be the first to know. “But we’re never going to find it, it's never going to be recovered and we are not looking for it. So no Fiesta." Fans of the series admitted they were “gutted” at the news while some suggested the model had likely been stripped for parts. X user @WeeBod7 said: “Gutted about the wee Fiesta. This was my first car when I passed my test… traded it in for a MII Fiesta shortly after. Loved those little cars.” @Joursans added: “Very sad Mike. A 1300 Fiesta was my first car.” Another remarked: “Such a shame that was a great car!” @SteveoBladeCoD commented: “Wow… although Mike, it was probably better broken up for parts so doesn’t exist anymore.” Another said: “That Fiesta was parted imo - too hot to handle. Thugs.” Mike and co-host Marc Priestley had worked on restoring the Fiesta Mk1 as a special tribute to the American car giant. After spending hours on upgrading the model back to its best, the team were set to demonstrate their work at a Ford car meet. However, production crews were left stunned when the model and the trailer it was parked in were snatched just hours before the big reveal in June 2023. Mike issued an urgent social media plea in an attempt to hunt down the model and has previously offered a cash reward for any information which led to its discovery.
