Hugh Jackman shares devastating news with fans ‘I am deeply disappointed’ | Music | Entertainment

Last year, Hugh Jackman announced he would be headling BST Hyde Park this summer on July 6, 2025.

The movie star was set to perform a medley of hits from the musical theatre and film career from Les Mis and the Music Man to The Greatest Showman.

However, the 56-year-old today announced that the show had been cancelled in a statement that left fans devasted.

The Aussie posted on Instagram: "Due to unforeseen conflict in my schedule, I am deeply disappointed to announce I will be unable to perform in Hyde Park this July 6.

"This was a stage I truly was looking forward to being on. No less in a city that I love so much. Thank you to all people who've purchased tickets."

The post added: "For ticket refunds, please go to the link in my [Instagram] bio for more information. London, I will see you soon! Hugh Jackman. Ticketholders for Hugh Jackman will be automatically refunded and contacted directly by their ticket agent with further details. Please visit this link for more information.

Our best bet is that Jackman's scheduling conflict is to shoot his scenes as Wolverine for 2026's Avengers Doomsday, which sees the return of Robert Downey Jr to the MCU. The Marvel blockbuster movie is due to film in London from March to August this year.
