Dyson is back with a powerful new vacuum that cleans more your home

There's a new Dyson launching next month that should help keep your carpets clean and your car looking showroom-ready. And that's not all: It's also built for those lucky enough to own a boat, with Dyson promising that its compact size and powerful suction will help clean up on both land and water.

With that in mind, you might not be surprised by this cleaner's new name—it's called the Dyson Car+Boat, and Dyson boasts that it's the most powerful handheld vacuum ever. It will go on sale on February 4th and cost £249.99, so what do you get for that money?

Despite its small size, Dyson says this vacuum features a motor that spins at 110,000 rpm for deeper cleaning.

When picking up dirt, it also includes a fully sealed filtration system that captures 99.99% of particles as small as 0.3 microns, including dust, allergens, and even nasty bacteria.

Its power and filter could be especially helpful when cleaning areas like mattresses or pet beds, which might contain allergy-triggering particles like dust mites or pet dander. These objects should easily be sucked up by the Dyson Car+Boat, meaning less chance that you will inhale them.

Other bonus extras include a long 50 minute runtime plus plenty of attachments to help get into all those nook and dust-filled crannies.

It's also lightweight which should help to make it feel more portable and easier to use in tight spaces.

“We’ve redefined what a handheld vacuum can do,” said Asaph Ooi, Dyson Engineer. “The Dyson Car+Boat delivers the kind of power, filtration, and ease-of-use that our customers have come to expect, making it the ultimate companion for cleaning every surface, from home to on-the-go.”

As we mentioned before, it's going on sale next week and will be available from Dyson Demo Stores and Dyson.co.uk.
