Prévost, Quebec's Emile Nadeau claimed World Cup aerials bronze medal on home soil in Lac Beauport, Que., Sunday

Miha Fontaine of Lac-Beauport and Quebec City's Alexandre Duchaine were 10th and 11th on Sunday, respectively. Duchaine was fifth in Saturday's super final.

Perhaps Marion Thénault ran out of energy in the women's event.

The 24-year-old from Sherbrooke, Que., who was bedridden by a severe virus earlier in the week, was sixth in the super final on Sunday.

She scored 69.97 behind podium finishers Laura Peel of Australia (102.17), American Karenna Elliott (87.42) and Australia's Airleigh Frigo (76.85).

Thenault also competed this weekend after injury her knee during qualifications a week ago in Lake Placid, N.Y., where she earned a final-round score of 90.94 points for bronze, the Canadian's 11th career World Cup medal.

She placed 13th in women's qualifying on Saturday, falling just 0.26 points short of a spot in the final.

She needed to reach the podium in both individual events this weekend to secure her Olympic qualification. However, Thenault will have more opportunities to qualify later in the season.
