Lewis Hamilton and Angela Cullen are reportedly working together again after the New Zealander was present alongside the seven-time world champion at his first visit to Ferrari's Maranello facility.

Cullen joined Hamilton's entourage in 2016 as a personal trainer, and while the Brit lost out to team-mate Nico Rosberg in the World Championship that year, she helped guide him back to glory the following year as Mercedes' star man kickstarted a run of four consecutive titles.

The 50-year-old departed the F1 paddock in a mysterious fashion in 2023, but according to a report from the Daily Mail, Cullen has returned to Hamilton's inner circle, moving to Fiorano to aid the seven-time world champion as he adapts to life at Ferrari.

Hamilton has often cited Cullen as one of the leading contributors towards his on-track success, and her absence in 2024 corresponded with the 40-year-old's worst F1 season to date, finishing seventh in the Drivers' Championship standings.

"She’s the single hardest-working woman that I get to be around," Hamilton explained previously. "She’s focused, selfless and makes my weekends peaceful. Every day I wake up, whatever time it is, she’s just positive. Never a single day has she been negative. That’s very important."

Aside from the sacrifice of moving to Italy, Cullen will also need to give up her role working with IndyCar starlet Marcus Armstrong, who enjoyed a strong sophomore campaign with Chip Ganassi Racing in 2024 with help from his fellow New Zealander.

"So when I left Formula One, I thought I was moving away from motorsport," she told the IndyCar YouTube channel. "I retired actually. So I took a year off last year, and then I connected with Marcus Armstrong and I just started working with him on mental skills and things in the background.

“In the offseason, I was sponsored by SOS Hydration, which he was sponsored by as well, and they connected us. He said, ‘Do you want to come to a race?’ and I was like, ‘Oh yeah, I’d love to come out.’

“Oh my God, like IndyCar just hit me, it is so much fun, and I just fell in love with it. The racing is incredible, the drivers are incredible, I was overwhelmed by the expertise of everyone in the paddock. So I arrived, and I haven’t left.”
