Disney's The Lion King is one of the most popular West End shows of all time, and has grossed more than $1.9 billion at the box office over the past 30 years.

With music from legendary British pop star Elton John and lyrics from Tim Rice, this production has gone down in history as one of the most iconic productions ever made.

After it debuted in the Orpheum Theatre in Minneapolis, USA, on July 8, 1997, it has travelled the world.

At the moment, Disney's The Lion King is still playing in London's Lyceum Theatre, and continues to have up to seven showings a week.
