Everyone’s saying same thing as Meghan Markle launches Netflix trailer | Royal | NewsThere has been no stopping Meghan Markle as she has posted once again on Instagram, this time dropping the trailer to her new Netflix show 'With Love, Meghan'. Avid royal watchers have been keen to share their opinions on the show, which will contain eight episodes, and will launch on January 15. The official description reads: "This inspiring series, produced by Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, reimagines the genre of lifestyle programming, blending practical how-to’s and candid conversation with friends, new and old. Meghan shares personal tips and tricks, embracing playfulness over perfection and highlights how easy it can be to create beauty, even in the unexpected. "She and her guests roll up their sleeves in the kitchen, the garden, and beyond, and invite you to do the same." It seems royal watchers can't wait for the launch date. One wrote: "She looks so happy, made new friends that's a win for our girl." Another said: "Love the concept already!" Another social media fan commented on the trailer, saying: "Love this for her. Aligned to her good old blogging days" referring to her former lifeestyle website, The Tig. Another added: "So excited. We will be watching." The trailer shows Meghan baking at home with her famous friends, toasting to celebrations, and also shares behind-the-scenes snippets of her enthusiasm for food - and the Duchess is even shown donning a bee-keeper outfit in one segment. On Meghan's own Instagram account, which she first posted on yesterday, she captioned her teaser post: "I have been so excited to share this with you! I hope you love the show as much as I loved making it. Wishing you all a fantastic new year! Thanks to our amazing crew and the team @netflix. Beyond grateful for the support - and fun!" However, some social media users have expressed they may not be watching the series. One wrote: "When will Netflix learn that no one wants to watch Megan do anything? Must be really nice to have money to burn like this." Another simply said: "Rather watch paint dry." A third critic joked: "All they wanted was some privacy, and a Netflix deal." In the voice-over of the Netflix series, Meghan explains: "I've always loved taking something pretty ordinary and elevating it. Surprising people with moments that let them know I was really thinking of them." In one snippet, Meghan is also seen cheerfully embracing her husband, Prince Harry and having a laugh with friends including former Suits co-star, Dana Scott. Meghan is also seen toasting with and chatting to celebrity friends including actress Mindy Kaling, who also appeared in her podcast, Archetypes. The long-awaited lifestyle series, which fans were promised when lifestyle brand American Riviera Orchard was first teased last March, will launch on January 15. Shortly after stepping down as working royals in 2020, Harry and Meghan signed a multi-year Netflix contract estimated at £80million. Earlier this month, the duo released a docuseries titled 'Polo' which focused on the elite sport. However, 'Polo', failed to make the top 10 on Netflix in any country, including the United States and Britain. Source link Posted: 2025-01-02 22:18:56 |
