Princess Kate has had her £475 country boots since university – recreate her look for £160 | Royal | News

Princess Kate's fashion choices inspire many around the world. Every time she steps out in public representing the Royal Family, millions of eyes watch her every move with many naming her as the best-dressed royal.

The 42-year-old rarely puts a foot wrong and has been described as the perfect Queen in waiting as she prepares to support, in years to come, her husband and future King the Prince of Wales. Her Royal Highness has impeccable taste from day to night and often steps out in show-stopping ensembles.

One staple in the Princess of Wales wardrobe is her Penelope Chilvers Conker Long Tassel Boots. They retail at £475 and you can buy them here if you click on this link.

It may seem a little steep to splash out just under £500 on a pair of winter footwear but they appear to be an investment. Princess Kate has had hers since she was at University at St Andrews College, Scotland.

The British footwear and accessory brand first garnered international recognition two decades ago, back in 2004, when Kate first stepped out in them. She now frequently chooses them for many of her outdoor or countryside engagements.

The Duchess of Edinburgh and Princess Eugenie have also worn a variety of different pieces from the brand's stunning shoe range.

Meanwhile, Princess Charlotte also mirrored her mother’s classy and timeless style in 2020, when she wore a mini-me version of the famed boots on their family Christmas card.

Kate’s support hasn't gone unnoticed with the brand's founder. Penelope Chilvers previously told the MailOnline: “I put my heart and soul into making the best products I can.” Adding: “I feel grateful that the Royal Family appreciates what I do.”

If you want to recreate Princess Kate’s iconic country look then look no further than Jones Bootmaker as they sell the Ingrid Leather Knee-High Boots by Barbour.

They were originally £189.99 but are now only £160 and you can buy them now if you click here. If you look at the detail you will notice they strike a similar resemblance to Princess Kate.

Meanwhile, if you are not a fan of the tassel and would prefer knee-high riding boots in a gorgeous chocolate colour, then head over to Dune.

The Tatter - Brown Leather Riding Boots are £155 and look very sophisticated – you can buy them now by clicking here.

They boast rave reviews, with one user saying: “Just what I was looking for! Great leather, lovely colour and good heel that doesn’t look to chunky. The width of the calf allows me to tuck my jeans inside, I’d say they are standard fit. I’m usually a size 6.5. Size 6 to small and 7 good fit on foot, a Little bit loose around the ankles but best I’ve found so far so keeping them!”
