A woman in her 60s has wowed people after sharing a makeup hack she claims will make you look "instantly younger".

Vicky Derosa says she swears by this one makeup trick that has helped her look and feel youthful her over the past four decades.

In a TikTok video, she said she had learned a makeup trick 40 years ago which she still uses to this day.

Speaking about her modelling days, she says it was a hack she learned while working in the industry - and she claims the secret lies all in the lipstick.

"Dark lipstick may look amazing, I've done a few videos about this because everybody keeps asking me about the lipstick. Dark lipstick I'm sure looks fabulous, red lipstick looks amazing," she explained.

However, it's the light lipstick that makes you look younger says Vicky.

Vicky says you should take a picture with dark lipstick on first and then light lipstick and see the huge difference it makes.

She said: "If you want to instantly make that shift and look younger you'll see, go with light lipstick."

People were quick to agree with her tip, one person said: "It’s really made me look younger,thank you for the tip!"

Another wrote: "You are absolutely right. I have thrown out all my dark lipstics (kept the reds for special occassions)."

One person chimed in: "I agree I use to love my bright tropical orange lipstick but now I am 53 and I choose neutral lipsticks, to be fare I have used a plum once this Christmas."

Vicky often posts videos about how to look younger, she has garnered half a million followers on the TikTok app.

Another piece of advice she posted about was chewing gum and how it changed the shape of your face if you do it enough.

Eventually it stregthens your jaw muscles which can cause your jaw to look more square.
