M62 traffic live: Major UK motorway closed as air ambulance lands at 'serious crash' | UK | News The M62 is closed after a serious crash with traffic stopped between J26 and J25. An air ambulance landed at the scene while a total of two miles of congestion have been reported on the route. National Highways said the M62 westbound was closed between J26 for the M606 and J25 Brighouse due to a "serious collision". It warned traffic had been stopped on the eastbound carriageway to allow the air ambulance to land at the scene. The agency said: "There are two miles of congestion on the approach westbound.
