Beatles biopics Paul McCartney actor confirmed by Ridley Scott | Films | Entertainment According to The Hollywood Reporter, Gladiator II director Scott was asked about whether Mescal might star in his new thriller The Dog Stars. The filmmaker replied: “Yes. Maybe. Paul is actually stacked up, doing the Beatles next. So I may have to let him go.” If that wasn’t enough, there are also actors rumoured for John Lennon and George Harrison. It’s rumoured that The King’s Man actor Harris Dickinson has been cast as John Lennon and Charlie Rowe will play George Harrison in the four Beatles biopics.
