The draw for the third round of the FA Cup takes place tonight as the oldest competition in world football continues to heat up. Premier League and Championship clubs enter this phase of the tournament after an entertaining weekend of second-round ties.

There are two non-league teams in the pot tonight after National League Tamworth beat League One Burton Albion on penalties yesterday.

On Saturday, Dagenham & Redbridge overcame AFC Wimbledon to secure their spot in round three. There were no other major shocks but there were plenty of great games.

Reading beat Harborough Town 5-3 after extra time while Lincoln City beat Crawley Town 4-3 with Peterborough defeating Notts County by that same scoreline.

Three ties were decided on penalties including Tamworth's victory while Accrington Stanley beat Swindon Town after a shootout and Bristol Rovers triumphed at Barnsley via spot-kicks.

There are 64 teams involved in total in this evening's draw with 32 ties to be decided.
