Amazon Black Friday bargain slashes 60% off Samsung Galaxy SmartTag2

Amazon has slashed an whopping 60% off Samsung's highly-rated Bluetooth trackers in its Black Friday sale. The Samsung Galaxy SmartTag2 four-pack is now on offer at £44, a saving of £65.99 from the usual price of £109.99.

For those not looking to bulk buy, a single SmartTag2 is up for grabs at £14, reduced from £39.99. These tiny yet mighty devices have soared in popularity, becoming essential for securing valuable possessions such as car keys, wallets or suitcases – they can even be used on pet collars to locate lost furry friends.

Equipped with an impressive battery life that lasts up to 500 days, the SmartTag2 syncs seamlessly with the SmartThings app available on Samsung Galaxy gadgets and is packed with features including Lost Mode, Search Nearby and Ring Your Tag. The Search Nearby feature guides users with real-time directions through its Compass View, while Ring Your Tag emits an audible signal to track down the tracker's location, reports The Mirror.

Designed to endure, the gadgets come with an IP67 water-resistance rating to withstand dust and water. Amazon customers have heaped praise on the Samsung Galaxy SmartTag2, which has earned a 4.4-star rating after more than 900 four and five-star reviews.

One delighted customer said: "Easy to use and reliable. Great for people like me who keep forgetting where they put their car keys or to clip onto my dog's collar. Money well spent and the four-pack is decent value."

Another said: "Great buy. Recently flew London to Miami. My suitcase didn't make the flight and I was able to check it with my SmartTag which showed the case was still at Heathrow. Was able to track it and I received it the next day. Money well spent."

A third happy shopper added: "So easy and simple to track anything – especially when you have someone little who likes to hide your house keys, no matter how high out of reach you put them. I cannot rate them highly enough. Have since purchased three more for teenage sons' keys and my car keys."

However, one review warned the SmartTag2 'only works with Samsung Galaxy handsets'. For iPhone users, the Apple AirTag is currently reduced to £28, down from £35.

For those needing a tracker that bridges different brands, consider the Tile Pro, which is half price at £24.99 for two but note it offers in-app purchases. Elsewhere, Debenhams is offering the Silviano Chipolo Card Bluetooth Tracker at a discounted price of £32, which is claimed to be 'the world's thinnest and loudest Smart Tracker' and is suitable for devices with iOS 12 or Android 7 later.
