Westminster Bridge LIVE: Man fighting for life after stabbing as police make four arrests | UK | News




Hundreds of police have flooded Westminster and Westminster Bridge is closed in both directions after a man was stabbed with four arrested for attempted murder.

The force was called to the scene at about 10.43am to reports of a fight and found a man with a stab injury, who was taken to hospital in critical condition.

Three people have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and another has been arrested on suspicion of affray. Two of those arrested were taken to hospital with minor facial injuries, the Met said.

It is understood the incident is not being treated as terror-related.

Posting on Twitter, now X, @triffic_stuff_ said: "Westminster Bridge closed in both directions. Hundreds of Police at the scene with the Bridge cordoned off. What’s going on?
