Meghan 'has major issues' with Kate as duchess in 'panic mode' | Royal | News

Meghan Markle "has major issues" with the Princess of Wales and is worried about Harry being "sucked back" into his old life, according to a source.

The royal source claims that the Duchess of Sussex - who moved to Montecito in California with her husband Prince Harry in 2020 - is "panicking" about Harry reuniting with his family.

As reported in Closer Magazine, the source said: "Meghan isn't happy at all. She's panicking about Harry being sucked back into his old life."

They added: "For her, it's far better for Harry to be on the outside, so she can have him firmly and safely in her corner."

The insider added Meghan believed if Harry became close to his family once again, it would strike "a note of panic."

Prince Harry and wider members of the Firm are not on speaking terms since the Duke of Sussex stepped down as a working royal with his wife Meghan.

Following his move, he released a bombshell memoir, Spare, and a Netflix docuseries, highlighting his private life within the Royal Family.

The source added: "Meghan still has major issues with Kate and partly blames her for them having to step down."

In Harry's bombshell memoir, Spare, Harry claimed a text exchange between Meghan and Kate left his wife sobbing on the floor.

In the memoir, Harry claims Kate sent his wife a message that read: "Charlotte’s dress is too big, too long, too baggy. She cried when she tried it on at home."

Meghan allegedly asked Kate to have the dress altered by her on-hand tailor who was at Kensington Palace.

According to Harry, Meghan responded: "Right, and I told you the tailor has been standing by since eight am. Here. At KP. Can you take Charlotte to have it altered, as the other moms are doing?"

But the Princess of Wales suggested all the dresses needed to be remade, Prince Harry claimed.

Meghan replied: "I'm not sure what else to say. If the dress doesn't fit then please take Charlotte to see Ajay. He's been waiting all day." Kate, the Duke claimed, replied saying: "Fine".

When asked if she read the messages Harry claims were sent between the two women, behaviors and language expert, Dr Lillian Glass, remarked: "It's the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen in my life. It's childish, babyish, and stupid.

"Kate wanted to be cooperative. You know, when she said the dresses needed to be done, even the tailor said yes, everyone's dresses need to be done. It was so, so silly."

There were high expectations for Princess Kate and Meghan Markle to form a strong bond after she began dating Prince Harry, but the Duke of Sussex described another awkward encounter between the women in his memoir.

It occurred when the now Duke and Duchess of Sussex attended the Royal Foundation Forum in February 2018 with Prince William and Princess Kate, where all four royals discussed their charitable work. It was the first time the foursome had carried out an official engagement together.

Backstage before the forum, Prince Harry detailed an encounter between Meghan and Kate, when his wife asked to borrow the Princess of Wales's lipgloss, which left Kate "grimacing".

He wrote: "Meg squeezed some onto her finger and applied it to her lips. Kate grimaced. Small clash of styles maybe."
