Brian May announces new ‘very catchy’ single with X Factor legend | Music | Entertainment

Sir Brian May has penned some massive Queen hits over the years, from We Will Rock You to I Want It All and Hammer To Fall.

Now, the 77-year-old has collaborated once again with X Factor finalist Talia Dean, who he’s been mentoring for the last few years.

The rock icon plays guitar on her new single, You Made Your Bed, which will be released on November 8.

Posting a teaser clip on Instagram, Sir Brian wrote: “My dear old (sorry - YOUNG!) - pal Talia Dean gave me some motivation to get back in the studio --- and here is her new release which I couldn't resist doing some production work on.

“You might recognise the guitarist too - although he's adding an unusually vintage sound to this track !”

Sir Brian added: “I was probably channelling Duane Eddy - a hero of mine and latterly a friend - now sadly gone to the next place. Talia writes new songs at an amazing rate - always different - like we might put on a new suit of clothes - and this song is the last of an era. This is a lot of fun - and very very catchy - but the next one may shock you. In a good way ! Meanwhile --- watch out for the video clip for this - it's very amusing !!! And please preorder the track right now ! Talia has mouths to feed !!!”
