McDonald's fan shares ordering tip for 'guaranteed' fresh burgers

Characterised by its glowing golden arches, McDonald’s is globally renowned for its lineup of burgers and iconic salty fries.

And one TikTok user claims to have found a way to elevate the fast-food experience even further.

The self-proclaimed ‘Maccies’ aficionado has divulged his secret to ensure a "guaranteed fresh, warm burger every time you visit McDonald's." However, there's a catch – the trick might lose effectiveness if it becomes too popular.

TikTok sensation Dre Paro (@‌drepaoofficial), who boasts an impressive 220,000 followers, shares snack news and reviews with his fans.

He suggests that the timing of your visit to a McDonald's restaurant could be crucial for a freshly cooked burger.

In his viral video, he claimed: "McDonald's hack. Do you want a guaranteed fresh, warm burger every time you visit McDonald's? All you have to do is visit between 12pm and 2pm, and 5pm and 7pm, and make sure you request a receipt."

Dre explained, "This is when McDonald's employees are told that they may get random spot checks to check for freshness, and they know that an inspector always asks for a receipt."

Yet, not everyone is convinced about the efficacy of this tip. In the comments section of the TikTok video, sceptical users questioned the plausibility of masquerading as an inspector.

Rachael commented, "Ok, but like I’m 14. I’m not gonna look like an inspector," Others noted that their local McDonald's branches automatically provide receipts with every order, regardless of whether one is requested.

McDonald’s GB states on its website: “The beef patties are 100 percent British and Irish beef and are made in Scunthorpe or Republic of Ireland, where they are made and instantly frozen. They are then sent to each store for use in our burgers. Once at our restaurants, the patties are cooked and assembled into the finished product. A pinch of salt and pepper is added to the beef patty after cooking.”

Many people claim that the final touch, a pinch of salt, is the key to fresh burgers—not Dre’s “hack.” Several TikTok agreed with one viewer's suggestion to “just ask for no salt on the patty”.

One person chimed, “Yup, fresh burger and fries always just say no salt.” A third shared, “Whenever I order a big Mac, I always tell them well done, and then they have to make it fresh. And if you want French fries, tell them no salt.”
