Expert says 'hidden' iPhone feature is 'one of greatest tricks yet'

iPhone users across the world will be well-versed in iMessage - and the emojis that come with it. But a tech expert has lifted the lid on a little-known feature that could change you messaging game.

The hidden feature is being hailed as one of the greatest tricks yet by the pro - and it's surprisingly easy to use. Nazar Kvartalnyi, a tech expert from Inoxoft, explains how you can overlay emojis on iMessage, creating dynamic and creative effects.

Introduced with iOS 16, this clever function is a breeze to use and offers a whole new way to personalise your messages. Nazar said: "To get started, open an iMessage conversation – note, this only works on iPhones, so if you're messaging an Android user (indicated by green bubbles), the feature won't be available. Simply send your first emoji as you would normally. After it's sent, tap the emoji icon again and choose the next emoji you want to stack.

"To layer them, press and hold the second emoji, then drag and drop it onto the original one. You can keep layering emojis as much as you like, adding multiple ones to create new expressions or playful visuals."

This trick can add an extra level of creativity and fun to your texts and, with so many emojis to choose from, the combinations are endless.

Whether you're creating unique faces or turning standard icons into something completely fresh, the possibilities are as broad as your imagination.

Nazar said: "This emoji hack is one of those hidden iPhone features that most people haven't discovered yet – but once you try it, it might just become your go-to trick for making your messages stand out."
