Prince Louis' dream job revealed as he wants to follow in Prince William's footsteps | Royal | NewsPrince Louis shares a close relationship with both his parents Prince William, 42, and Princess Kate, 42, however, it appears there is one parent the six-year-old is determined to follow in the footsteps of. After the King’s 2023 Coronation, Louis joined his family in renovating a Scouts Hut in Slough as part of a drive by the Royal Family to encourage volunteering. While taking part in activities, the cheeky prince helped with some painting along with his older sister Charlotte. The Mirror reported that a fellow volunteer asked Louis: "You might want to be a painter when you grow up?" The prince responded: "No, a fighter pilot.” Louis’ ambition would be following in the footsteps of his dad who learnt how to pilot planes while serving the country. After serving in the Army as a Platoon Commander in The Blues and Royals, The Prince of Wales completed flying training in the Royal Air Force. Although not a fighter pilot, the prince served as an RAF Search and Rescue pilot, spending three years at RAF Valley in Anglesey, Wales. He then worked as an air ambulance pilot for the East Anglian Air Ambulance (EAAA) between March 2015 and July 2017. Although Louis seems keen to follow a similar path to his dad, it appears Prince George and Princess Charlotte have other ideas when it comes to their futures.
