PS5 Slim 30th Anniversary pre-orders at Argos, Amazon, GAME, Currys and more | Gaming | EntertainmentVideo game fans will soon be able to pre-order more PlayStation hardware from Sony's incredibly popular 30th Anniversary Collection. Beginning October 10, PlayStation fans can pre-order PS5 Slim 30th Anniversary Digital Edition console bundles from the likes of Argos, Currys, Amazon, GAME and Very. Unfortunately, this doesn't include the ultra limited edition 30th Anniversary PS5 Pro bundles, which were limited to just 12,500 and sold out back in September. If you want a PS5 Slim 30th Anniversary Digital Edition console, then you can pre-order the device from October 10. There's no word on the exact time pre-orders will go on sale, but if it follows the PlayStation Direct schedule, then pre-orders could go live at 10am BST UK time. Daily Express will keep this article updated with the latest updates and announcements regarding PS5 Slim 30th Anniversary Digital Edition availability and on sale times in the UK. In the meantime, check out the links below to search for the console (links will continue to be updated once the Anniversary Edition goes on sale). • PS5 Slim 30th Anniversary Digital Edition pre-order at Argos • PS5 Slim 30th Anniversary Digital Edition pre-order at Amazon • PS5 Slim 30th Anniversary Digital Edition pre-order at Currys • PS5 Slim 30th Anniversary Digital Edition pre-order at GAME • PS5 Slim 30th Anniversary Digital Edition pre-order at Very To give yourself the best possible chance of nabbing a console from the retailer of your choice, it's worth having multiple devices open and bank details ready. Likewise, if you have an account with any of the retailers, it's probably best to sign in before pre-orders go live. The 30th Anniversary PlayStation 5 Digital Edition includes a themed console with a 1TB SSD, as well as a limited edition DualSense controller and a Console Cover if you ever decide to purchase a separate disc drive. It also contains a handful of bonus items, including PlayStation Shape cable ties and a PlayStation paperclip. PS5 30th Anniversary Digital Edition goes on sale at the same time as the PS5 Pro. The console aims to improve on the original PS5 in three main ways. Specifically with a bigger GPU, Advanced Ray-Tracing and AI-driven upscaling. The GPU will provide rendering that's up to 45% faster thanks to 67% more Compute Units and 28% faster memory. This should lead to a better balance between visuals and performance. Advanced Ray Tracing will provide "more dynamic reflection and refraction of light", which allows rays to be cast at double and sometimes even triple the speeds of the current PS5. Then there's the AI Driven Upscaling, which is said to use "machine learning-based technology to provide super sharp image clarity by adding an extraordinary amount of detail". Elsewhere, PS5 Pro Game Boost will give older PS4 and PS5 games an upgrade in the visual and performance department. Source link Posted: 2024-10-10 02:53:56 |
