The 2024 F1 season is finely poised as the Autumn break reaches its mid-point with Lando Norris and Max Verstappen ready to do battle for the World Championship over the coming six Grands Prix.

Norris heads into the final quarter of the campaign with three wins to his name this season, two of which have come in the last four races. Verstappen, meanwhile, is winless in eight Grands Prix, marking his longest barren run of the ground-effect era.

Such is the current performance deficit, Norris and McLaren head into all six remaining races as heavy favourites, although Verstappen may have an ace up his sleeve. Red Bull are preparing a significant upgrade package for the United States GP that could change the course of the title races.
